Our Story

Sana & Daud was born out of a deep, personal passion for the art of hand-embroidered clothing. Our founder envisioned a brand that would not only celebrate this beautiful craft but actively work to preserve it. We saw an incredible amount of dedication, hard work, and breathtaking talent within our local artisan community. Often, these skilled craftsmen and women go unnoticed by the world. We wanted to change that by creating a platform that showcases their art, ensures they receive fair pay, and protects their rights. At Sana & Daud, we blend traditional craftsmanship with a modern touch, designing unique pieces that bring the best of both worlds to life.

Our Purpose & Philosophy

The inspiration to start this journey also came from a need for better, more thoughtful design in women's fashion. Having lived in the UK for seven to eight years, our founder noticed a persistent gap in the market for comfortable, well-proportioned clothing. Many contemporary designs featured either excessively short or overly long shirts, or trousers that were too short, making it difficult for many women—particularly Muslim women—to find clothing that offered a perfect, comfortable fit. Sana & Daud was established to prioritize comfort and fit without compromising on style. We thoughtfully design clothing that is both modest and modern. We pay special attention to details, ensuring our trousers are tailored to a suitable, practical length. Above all, we choose high-quality, breathable fabrics that feel wonderful against the skin, avoiding stiff or irritating materials so that our clothing is comfortable and wearable for everyone.

Our Motivation

Behind the brand stands a strong foundation of family support. The driving forces and ultimate motivations behind Sana & Daud are the founder’s mother and her son. Her mother has been an unwavering backbone throughout this journey, providing endless encouragement and strength. Together with the support of her family, they inspired the creation of a brand rooted in care, craftsmanship, and community.
